Teaching Artist Training
As creative professionals, Teaching Artists are placed in environments where national and state Core Curriculum standards in education are used to measure the quality of a program, teaching artists need to be taught how to incorporate these expectations into their programs. Perkins Center for the Arts regularly offers Teaching Artist Training programs to its artists. Their topics will continue to be based on suggestions from Artists as they work in Perkins Center programs.
