Opening Milk and Cookies Reception, Saturday June 12, 10am-Noon
Young artists and environmental stewards celebrate horseshoe crabs in a Children’s Exhibition at Perkins Center for the Arts, Collingswood. Led by the Ecological Research and Development Group (ERDG), a non-profit organization whose mission is to conserve the world’s four remaining horseshoe crab species, fiber artist Winnie Radolan expertly guided students’ production of visual and literary art works. The students’ work has been reproduced and is part of a traveling art exhibition which will be on display until June 26 and continuing to other overseas sites. Artists from grades K – 12 were selected from over 500 submissions. The students hale from Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan and their work will also be posted on ERDG’s award winning web site, www.horseshoecrab.org


Paper Awareness XII: Works by the Regional Papermakers Guild

Established in 1991, the Guild of Papermakers is a gathering of artists who work in and with handmade paper with the common goal of sharing their artistic and technical experience and increasing public awareness surrounding paper as an art form.

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 10 am – 2 pm during exhibitions.
