Explore the world of color through a variety of media. Bring your imagination while we explore through the use of tempera and watercolor paint, drawing materials, papier-mâché, and collage. Emphasis will be on process, imagination and individual expression.
Bring your guitar and have fun learning some easy rock riffs and eventually learn to write your own. For students who have little or no previous training on the guitar this course includes: tuning, elementary theory, first position chords, reading chord diagrams, and tablature. Illustrate your comics or cartoons featuring superheroes, manga style, fantasy or whatever you like. Starting with pencil, students will design their pages and transfer them to special blue-line board. Then, discover the secrets of comic book inking that give drawings added dimension. Finally, students will photocopy their pages and add color with special watercolor dyes, creating their very own comic books. Please specify day when registering.

A creative movement class incorporating imagination, motor skills, games and stories. Fun for boys and girls! Come express your energies through movement and dance. Jump, spin, wiggle, and explore. This class is based on the works of Rudolph Laban, expanding movement potentials and developing the creative spirit of each student. Dress in comfortable clothing for ease of movement. No shoes required. All students must be potty trained.

Children will explore art through a variety of craft projects which enhance creativity and utilize fine motor skills. Parents will assist their children in their projects while allowing their child to be the primary artist. Sample projects include sponge painting, fabric cut and paste teddy bears, tissue paper collage and tempera painting. Be sure to bring a smock for your young one! All students must be potty trained.
An exhilarating and all-sensory class filled with activities in music, movement and art for toddlers and rompers. Play, paint, dance, sing and have fun. Learn folk songs from many cultures through hand claps and rhythm sticks accompanied by Pauline and her guitar. Parents are welcome to join their children in this class.
