This is a very prestigious grant award. Since completion of his degree he has been a recording and performing artist for numerous independent artists. Currently plays with Philadelphia's instrumental/punk experimental band "Mercury Radio Theater" and "Johnny Showcase and the Lefty Lucy Cabaret." Mercury Radio Theater has toured nationally as well as playing locally in venues such as Johnny Brendas, The Khyber, North Star Bar, and First Unitarian Church. A new album is in the works in the coming months in hopes to be released later this year. Johnny Showcase and the Lefty Lucy Cabaret had a successful venture in this past year's Philadelphia Fringe Fest with a production called "Purr Pull Reign."
