Approximately 250 children participate each summer, and nearly half of these children are Camden residents who attend on scholarship. This assistance is made possible through the generosity of our corporate donors and individuals. The children have a great time painting, singing, playing music, and creating clay sculptures—all while making new friends and meeting their neighbors.

We Thank You for Another Amazing Summer Arts Camp!
Time flies when you are having fun! Campers had a blast during our Heroes, Myths & Legends camp this past summer. Over the course of our 8 week summer program, children furthered their imaginations by exploring different heroes, myths, and legends through various art mediums while gaining social skills and making friends!
Campers enjoyed creating handmade Native American Kachina dolls, sculpting Chinese dragons and Mexican sun plaques, designing Greek vessels made of handmade paper, painting and drawing illustrations, inventing their very own superheroes, constructing heroes and mythological creatures created in clay, making instruments, composing and assembling their own mythological books, singing tales from around the world, choreographing dances to African and Cuban folklore, and performing American Legends, Greek ...Read more
