Season Subscription

The cost for a season subscription for the 2007 - 2008 season will be $95 and includes all 8 shows. The season subscription can be purchased in the same three ways as tickets. Online, by phone, or in person.

Advance tickets

Advance tickets can be purchased for any show, any time in three ways.

  1. You can purchase tickets online with credit card at this link.
  2. You can purchase tickets by phone at 856-235-6488 with a credit card.
  3. You can purchase tickets in person with a check, cash or credit card at Perkins Center, Moorestown.

FYI: DeCafé will not be issuing a physical ticket, but will instead keep a list of names and have that available at the door.

Due to the venue's popularity advanced ticket purchase is recommended. $15 admission includes light refreshments. Doors open at 7:30pm, music begins at 8:15pm.

Steve Standiford

This is the make up date for the cancelled show in February that will feature the fabulous ragtime piano player, Steve Standiford. The show was originally sold out, but due to some conflicts because of the change of date we now have about 10 or 12 tickets available.

Steve Standiford photoSteve Standiford grew up in Trenton, and found ragtime in 1973 at the age of 16. The next year, the popularity of "The Sting" led to opportunities to moved to Missouri in 1989, and found an active community of ragtime musicians there. He learned that the musical form was as alive as he had hoped, and began performing again. After moving to Wisconsin in 1999, performance opportunities increased, and he has been featured at the major ragtime festivals across the country, including the Scott Joplin Festival in Sedalia, Missouri, the Great River Jazz Festival in LaCrosse Wisconsin, and the West Coast Ragtime Festival in Sacramento. In addition to solo piano performances, he plays with the Ragtime Ramblers Dixieland Band, and with anyone else who will give him the chance. He moved to Philadelphia in January 2007 as Chief of Surgery at Cancer Treatment Centers of America's Hospital.

He welcomes this opportunity to perform at Perkins and hopes to bring the excitement of America's first homegrown music to the area. He can be reached at georgiagrind@yahoo.com.

Perkins Center Family Concert Series

Perkins Center for the Arts announces the Family Concert Series program.

For over 15 years Perkins Center Concert Series have brought outstanding artists in performances of chamber music to a wide audience and the concerts have grown to be an integral part of this region's cultural life. This season, Perkins Center is proud to present four Family Concerts in the intimate atmosphere of the historic Perkins Center mansion, located at 395 Kings Highway, Moorestown, NJ. Held on Sunday afternoons at 4:00pm, the concert performances will engage audience members of all ages.

Advanced tickets can be purchased online by clicking here or they can be purchased in person at Perkins Center. Tickets are also available at the door the day of performance. Ticket prices are Members: Adults $10, Senior Citizens/Students $8, and for Non-Members: Adults $12, Senior Citizens/Students $10.

Performance Opportunities

Perkins Center for the Arts takes great pride in offering diverse musical performances and utilizes the services of committees to invite musicians to perform in the Center's Concert Series. These committees research, recommend and invite musicians to perform at the Center. If you would like to share your work with the committees, please send your information to the attention of either the DeCafé committee or Family Concert committee. We will make great effort but cannot guarantee review of work.
