Our Mission

Perkins Center for the Arts is a unique cultural organization dedicated to excellence in the arts and to providing a wide range of creative opportunities for people of all ages and every level of artistic development.

Our Programs

The Center's programs include visual and performing arts classes and lessons, exhibitions, music and dance performances, workshops, visiting artists' residencies, and an outreach program for children, underserved communities, and individuals with special needs.

Programs are made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts / Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts and by funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Recognized by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts as a Major Arts Presenting Organization, Perkins Center offers arts programs that promote participation, understanding and communication amongst people. As a non-profit organization, Perkins Center receives financial support, donations and services from membership, friends, businesses, corporations and foundations.
